"Kick Butts Day" Scheduled for Saturday

"Kick Butts Day" in the Gap, a community clean-up event, is scheduled for Saturday,
May 13, 2006 at Bullitt Park.  Registration begins at 11 a.m. at the entrance to the Green Belt.

Registrants will receive latex gloves, a safety vest, and plastic gallon-sized bags
to collect and turn in as many bags of cigarette butts as they can before 2:00 p.m. Each participant's collection of butts will be weighed and cash prizes in the amounts
of $100, $50, and $25 will be awarded to the top three collectors. Prizes will be awarded at 2:30 p.m. at Bullitt Park. All students in Grades 3-8 are encouraged to enter.
