Moccasin Gap will perform Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at The Cranberry Thistle, 103 East Main Street in Jonesborough, Tenn.
“They’re pretty popular,” said Thistle owner, Nancy Colburn. “Folks might want to call for reservations or they can just stop by and take a chance!”
There’s no cover charge for this performance by Moccasin Gap. The Cranberry Thistle just wants people to come out and join them for a night of socializing and great bluegrass music.
“For those who’ve not come out to one of our concerts before,” says Nancy, “they need to know that when we have music, our kitchen closes at 7 p.m., so if people want food they should be here by 6:30. Of course we have coffee, cold drinks, cappuccinos and desserts all night.”
Moccasin Gap mixes traditional bluegrass tunes with old time claw hammer banjo/fiddle tunes and pop songs. The band has played in many local venues and has been involved with several events sponsored by civic organizations and area colleges.
