Changing Of The Guard

Changing of the Guard (Above) John Puckett, the new Scott County Sheriff, is officially sworn in by Scott County Circuit Court Clerk Mark 'Bo' Taylor at a special ceremony held last Friday in the Scott County Circuit Courtroom. Puckett is joined by his wife, Brenda and children, Jonathan and Ashley.

(Below) Scott County Treasurer Kevin Helms takes the oath of his new office surrounded by his wife and two children. All elected constitutional officers and their employees along with supervisors and school board members were sworn in for their new positions effective midnight Dec. 31, 2007.
