The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Board of Supervisors of Scott County, Virginia in accordance with Section 33.2-331 of the Code of Virginia will conduct a joint public hearing in the Community Services Building at 190 Beech Street, 2nd floor, Gate City, VA 24251 on, May 4, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Secondary Six-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2023/24 through 2027/28 in Scott County and on the Secondary System Construction Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023. Copies of the proposed Plan and Budget may be reviewed at the VDOT District Office, 2111 Bonham Road, Bristol, VA 24201 and in the office of the County Administrator, 190 Beech Street, Suite 201, Gate City, VA 24251. All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.
