Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin held an appreciation luncheon last Tuesday at the Scott County Telephone Cooperative building in Daniel Boone to acknowledge his supporters who helped him to win the election. He also posed for photographs with many of those in attendance.
Season-Ending Concert
Carson Peters and his band, Iron Mountain, bring down the house at the season-ending concert held Nov. 20 at the Carter Family Fold. The music venue will remain closed with plans to reopen after March 5, 2022.
