Local youngsters enjoyed a special occasion at Gate City Middle School on Saturday at the annual Shop With a Cop event. Sponsored by Scott County Sheriff Jeff Edds with assistance from local busi­nesses and organizations, the event allows children to pick out spe­cial gifts for the holiday and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, too.
