A Duffield man was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison with 15 years suspended in a case that began with a “cybertip.” David Dewayne Bishop Jr., 36, of Salling Street, Duffield, was sentenced in Scott County Circuit Court on 35 charges of possessing child pornography. United States At­torney Christopher R. Kavanaugh announced Jan. 23 that the West­ern District of Virginia collected $20,747,820.84 in criminal and civil ac­tions in Fiscal Year 2023.
