Lovely blooming sarvisberry and Bradford pear tears have sprung up all over the county including this scene just off Wadlow Gap Highway. It seems like the outpouring of beauty happened nearly overnight. Although it’s been a bit colder this week, we hope spring is here to stay.

Emergency personnel work to clear a car crash that occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 23 near the Clinch River bridge.
