Lovely blooming sarvisberry and Bradford pear tears have sprung up all over the county including this scene just off Wadlow Gap High­way. It seems like the outpouring of beauty happened nearly over­night. Although it’s been a bit colder this week, we hope spring is here to stay.

Afternoon Crash

Emergency personnel work to clear a car crash that occurred Mon­day afternoon on Highway 23 near the Clinch River bridge.
